Shower activity has decreased across the island within the past 6 hours and the threat of flash flooding has diminished hence the Barbados Meteorological Services (BMS) has discontinued the flash-flood watch effective immediately.
There remains the possibility of light to moderate showers over the next 12 hours.
The public should continue to monitor the BMS website and social media pages for forecast updates.
This discontinuation statement was issued at 4:15pm today Friday April 19th 2024.
